Early 2017, I had the pleasure of watching a very interesting documentary called Poverty Inc: a story that detailed the complex industry of foreign aid. In the Documentary, they gave many examples of organizations that tried to help, but ended up doing more harm then good. I wanted to tackle this complex issue through researching the individual stakeholders of an NGO operation, and seeing how design could contribute to aiding the issue.
